Kristin Bassani is a Young Adult author currently living in Pittsburgh, PA. When she’s not busy writing books, she writes technical content for software and robotics. In her free time, she can be found scouring her bookshelves to find space for the obscene number of books she collects.
She fell in love with books at a young age and dreamt of creating worlds of her own. And from there, the story seems to have written itself. Kristin’s unbounded imagination coupled with her wealth of experiences growing up across the United States has had a major influence on her work.
With each new school year, Kristin found herself in a new city—and thankfully a new bookstore—with no shortage of Young Adult novels at her side. Her travels from New Jersey to Pennsylvania, Virginia, Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York broadened her horizons and cemented her desire to explore. After she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, she chose to stay put, but the pull of her nomadic youth is difficult to ignore.
Kristin’s currently hard at work on a revision for her newest novel—this one is YA science fiction—before she dives back into the query trenches.
